Each year the New Kadampa Tradition organizes a  number of national and regional Dharma Celebrations, and one is held in Asia every year. Taught by the National Spiritual Director of the country in which the event is held, Dharma Celebrations provide a precious opportunity to meet up with like-minded people in your area and enjoy empowerments and teachings from the senior Teachers of the tradition.

This April, Taiwan will host the Asian Dharma Celebration at our new Center in Taipei.

We have the great good fortune to have as our teacher for this celebration, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, the NKT National Spiritual Director of Asia.

This year, Gen Tonglam, the NKT National Spiritual Director of Asia, will grant the empowerment of Medicine Buddha and give teachings on how we can transform difficulties into a means for spiritual growth. These teachings will be based on the book, Eight Steps to Happiness by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, which will be available in the Chinese version this spring.

This Celebration is also to celebrate the Opening of the new Kadampa Center : Kadampa Corporation Taiwan. KC Taiwan is dedicated to the peace and happiness of all living beings through the spiritual efforts of promoting the precious Kadam Dharma throughout Asia.
